The only one in her dreams
Right from her teenage years
She saw him and fell in love
His laughs and his
His protectiveness
She lived and craved for them
Only but a young girl
With a seemingly huge crush
on a man far older
She didn’t care
But she couldn’t show it
She could only follow
Like a dog on a leash
Not even fully understanding
What her feelings truly were
True love or infatuation
Time perhaps will tell
Time perhaps will tell
Then he goes away
Without so much as a word
Gone with the wind
Left with his laughs and smiles
Left her wondering
Left her longing for what may have been
She searched all over
He was gone. Just gone
Fate plays her card as she knows best to
Reconnected by a stroke of luck
She was filled with so much joy
Reminiscing
He is back but far away
He is back but with someone else
Cocooned in a world far away with others
Torn,
Between a love that has been dormant for years and her honour
She chooses love, unholy love
Without a care
Selfishly and possessively
She wants him. All of him
He says he wants her too
That he loved her even before
She knew what love is
She believed him. Wholeheartedly
Rejoicing in his told love for her
He is her protector
He should be her protector
The love grows, as unholy as it is
She falls completely for him
No one compares to him
Everything and everyone pales in comparison
Thoughts of him makes her insides glow
Butterflies flying, sun shining
It is all she feels
He said he would never hurt her
Promises made, promises sworn
I’ll give you more he promised
I’ll always be there he says
Lots of promises
She believed with all her heart
All promises that were made by him
Then long moments of silence
Calls ignored, messages unanswered
She panics, terrified
It isn’t the first time
Is he hurt?
Where is he? What is happening?
Lots of questions. All unanswered
Worried and angered
She falls sick
Disillusioned and depressed
Alarmed and worried
All in same breath
More despair and depression
Then she rants, cries and begs
Curses and then cries more
Rants and then begs
For just a word
From the love of her life
The one she has always wanted but belongs to another
Torn.
Between her pride and sanity
She calls it all off
Broken, dejected and unfulfilled
With unrequited love
But he remains silent still
Not feeling her pain
Not feeling her soul
But she still hopes
For his love
She still hopes to feel his arms around her
To know what it would be like waking up with him
To feel his love flow through her
To know if the sparks will truly fly
To see if the chemistry is real
She still hopes to have him
She is torn but she still hopes
Sincere apologies KQ Tribe for the long absence. Laptop crashed in the middle of the 30 day blog challenge (now I am confused as to whether I should continue with the blog challenge or end it where it currently is and make it a 13 day blog challenge.
Laptop issues have now been sorted out and I am looking forward to getting in the grind and conversing with you all!
I thought I should do something on my Musings: Reflections category. This was written a while back and it suits the aforementioned category so I have decided to publish it and get your thoughts on it…
I hope I have been forgiven for the long absence and you all still gat my back. I am currently rebranding so great things are on the offing! Don’t touch that dial. Stay tuned.
You all know I gat nothing but love for you. Have a fabulous weekend!

Hmmmmm. This is an in-depth albeit brief summation of what the end might be..there might be a twist in the plot though. We will see!
