Today, I did like to give you the scoop on the best hair care products for damaged hair.

It is a great feeling working and collaborating with an a people conscious and environmentally friendly company.

I wouldn’t be collaborating with them again if they weren’t a “moral” brand and this collaboration is even more significant because of what transpired.

Let me tell you the story. 

Around February this year, I reached out to the Manager whom I had worked with in the previous review about one of their products (Biotin to be precise) that was supposed to be included in the hair care products I used for the previous review but wasn’t. So, I reminded her and told her I had moved to the States and she would have to send it to me. That is if she was still willing (after all, review had been done).

To my greatest surprise, she said she loved my previous review and would like me to do another review for their new line of hair care products and the Biotin is inclusive. 

Of course, you already know my answer lol. I agreed and I sent her the address to mail the hair products to. 

I received them within 10 days.

Then comes the twist. A week after the products arrived, I got a job offer in another city and decided to move. I had three big pieces of luggage (the standard check in kind) and because of the exhorbitant check in fees with the airline, I decided to leave one of the luggage behind so it could be sent to me. That proved to be one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made! I am literally crying right now thinking about it. This was in March. So, the said luggage was sent to me via USPS. It was containing new clothes, some of my best winter wears, an original Fendi bag, two boots, my pictures (from teenage years till date), ring light, expensive jewelry, expensive Brazilian wigs and the Vegamour hair care products. 

To my greatest surprise, when I tried tracking the luggage online, I saw a message that the bag had already been delivered and this is not true. I did everything possible, made frantic calls, went to their offices in Maryland all to no avail only for them to inform me that they tried retrieving the bag but couldn’t and they can only give me a hundred dollars because the bag wasn’t insured!

How do I begin to tell the company that I didn’t use their products so cannot give a review because they were stolen? 

But I had to let them know (of course providing receipt and correspondence between me and USPS as proof) and they decided to resend those exact items! Another complete package so I could do the review!

I have been transitioning to natural hair and wanted to see how the Vegamour GRO range of hair care products would do for my natural hair.

It was a big gamble and kind of risky because I’ve never gone natural. I’ve always had my hair permed and if you check my previous review, you’d see my hair was permed.

On my first use of the products, I still had some permed hair left (remember I am transitioning and no, I didn’t do the big chop like most people do lol. I’ve always had soft hair, but a on the thin side and I’ve never seen it this curly or full after just a few months of using Vegamour GRO range of products.

I look so forward to wash days because of the scents of the shampoo and conditioners. I just want to keep washing and washing! And a little squirt of the shampoo lathers so much, it’d practically take a year to exhaust it but don’t go scrimping girl!
